Material: 100% Eider
27-31 Microns
Braids will be 4 ounces or greater.

Eider is a German wool, and comes from German Whiteheaded Mutton sheep (obviously a dual purpose breed!). The wool is good for spinning a variety of items, basically anything that doesn't require next-to-skin softness.

Colors: Every braid is different. Even within dye sessions colorways may have a variance in color.

Care: I always recommend handwashing any wool yarn and items made with wool yarn. Yarn or fiber listed as superwash wool may be washed in the washing machine on the gentle setting with cold water and laid flat to dry.

Disclaimers: After the finished skeins are washed, some bleeding may occur (especially on colorways with turquoise or red/magenta). It should stop within a few washes.

I always attempt to photograph each braid’s color accurately, but monitor settings vary. I photograph in natural lighting, which varies with the seasons. I attempt to capture an accurate representation of each colorway, but the first photo is a representation of the color and size of the braid you will receive. I take photos with every new batch, so I don't use stock photos. Some braids will have differences in color (i.e. white spots, different balance of color, etc.) to the main listing photograph.
