Handcrafted memory bears are created with love to help preserve memories for years to come! Memory bears are created with preloved items that are repurposed into the most special keepsake. When sewing, I utilize a patchwork design to create your bear. I can create your bear with a variety of clothing items such as, onesies, t-shirts, pajamas, blankets and sleepers.Bears sit 12” from bottom to head.Memory Bear MINI sit 8” from bottom to head.How it works:1.Once payment is complete, you will receive an email confirmation and shipping instructions.2.Gather 10-12 baby outfits/onesies/sleepers/receiving blankets OR 1-3 adult sized shirts. I can utilize a variety of outfits to create the patchwork look.Memory bear MINIS require 5-8 items of baby clothing.3.Pre-wash the clothes before sending to me. Please avoid items with holes or large spots/stains unless you are okay with them being on your item.4.Please be sure to bag/label your items. Package your items in a protective plastic such as Ziploc bags or reusable shopping bags.5. Once I have received your items, I will begin the process of creating your keepsake. The current turnaround time is about 16 weeks depending on the number of orders I may have in front of you.WEIGHTED MEMORY BEARS:Weighted Memory Bears are weighted to baby's birth weight utilizing a combination of steel shot & polyfil. I can accept weighted bears up to 10lbs. I will not go heavier then 10lbs 0oz. Please select the correct weight of your bear & sizing option in the drop-down menu when ordering.EXTRAS & SCRAP MATERIAL:If you think you will need in the future part of the material you are planning to use in my creation, please:- Do not send it to me- Cut the portion you plan to use in the future and send me only the portion that you want me to use.**Please keep in mind that memory bears are NOT intended as toys as there are small parts and they are very delicate keepsake items.**All products are created with care in a pet/smoke free environment!
