This sewing ruler is a 6 inch long aluminum gauge with a red sliding guide. Use it to quickly and consistently measure short spaces when sewing or quilting. Measuring correctly can have an enormous impact on the look of any sewing project! You can set the measurement with the spacer and easily and quickly measure ⅝”, ¼” or ¾” hems or seam allowances. Long tape measures can easily get in the way when making these short measurements. The risk of making mistakes is much greater with regular sewing or quilting rulers.
